Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and adaptable addition to our team to help us keep things efficient and organised in the background, enabling the wider team to be super effective in their time with the children. The role will operate across both our Hurst Green and Salehurst nurseries, with travel required between the two each day. It’s likely the role will be from around 11am to 2pm each day, but we are open to being flexible and aligning to your preference and ideas as the role evolves. It will need to be Monday to Friday all year round, except for bank holidays. However we would be open to a job share option.
You will be accountable for serving lunch at each site, clearing and cleaning afterwards, organising and maintaining the kitchens, stock control, some washing, and delivering resources between each site daily.
About you
- Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning or related roles is preferred.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments such as restaurant or culinary settings would be great.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in cleanliness are essential for maintaining high standards of hygiene
- A driving licence and own transport is essential (we’ll cover your travel costs)
- We’ll want you to become first aid trained before starting (we’ll sort this out for you)
